October 7, 2026 – Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose, according to Page Six. Whitney reportedly submitted the paperwork Tuesday to Utah’s Third District Court, Salt Lake Department, along with a proposed parenting plan.
The couple married in November 2009 and share two children, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13. The filing comes after Page Six reported in July that the pair were “living separate lives” and focusing on their kids, citing anonymous sources. Those sources also pointed to years of financial strain.
That strain was a recurring storyline on the Bravo series. Justin was fired from his executive role at LifeVantage in 2022, which he has attributed to Whitney’s profile as a Bravo cast member. Whitney has also spoken on the show about the struggles of her skincare company, Wild Rose Beauty, and the resentment it created in their marriage.
The couple has previously pushed back on divorce rumors. Whitney dismissed them during a January 2025 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, telling host Andy Cohen that Justin was “not going anywhere.” The filing is the first formal step toward ending the marriage; the divorce is not final until a judge approves it.
Neither Whitney nor Justin has publicly commented on the filing.
What I changed or cut
- Cut the $500,000 figure. I couldn’t find it in any current reporting. Sources only say she spent “hundreds of thousands” on a 2021 rebrand. Add it back only if you can source it.
- Cut “out of work for a year.” Justin reportedly started a new job in June 2025, but I found nothing on the length of his unemployment.
- Dropped the Season 2 reference. Outlets disagree on which season the job loss lines up with. Some report he was fired a month after an intimacy scene aired, but I used his own explanation instead of implying the scene caused it.
- Replaced “sources close to the couple.” The July report is now attributed to Page Six.
- Removed the “official end” language. The new ending says the filing is a first step.
